Freedom is about more than luxury handbags…

I saw someone post recently about the freedom she was afforded by buying an expensive bag. A Balenciaga bag, to be exact…

Maybe I’m just not a handbag-kind-of-gal (I honestly had to look up what “Balenciaga” was)…
But being able to buy an expense bag is NOT my definition of freedom.

> Is it nice to afford luxury items if I want?
Sure.

> Is it fun to shop for expensive handbags and feel like a celebrity?
I suppose.

I get it. I loved Ariana’s 7-rings song (even saw her perform it live pre-covid.)
I see it. I like it. I want it. I got it.

But freedom and prosperity are so much MORE than a pair of red bottoms, a high-end leather bag, or a blue box from Tiffany’s.

Trust me, I’ve known PLENTY of people who are able to afford these luxury items (and more), that are not living in a state of freedom, but instead in total disfunction.

🤮 Like my ex-boyfriend who came from major old money who had a MELTDOWN because the printer wouldn’t work…

🤬 Or a former colleage of mine who told me she THREW KEYS at her employee’s head because of an invoicing mistake they’d made…

🤯 Or the coworkers of mine from a job I had years ago leaving HATE-FILLED slander reviews on my podcast, telling the world how much of a scam I am…

🙄 Or the friend who called me WEEPING because her boyfriend was giving her clear red flags and being sketchy AF, and then went and bought a house together with him…

🥺 Or the friend who has incredible trauma from her abusive mom who still holds power over her because she’s super wealthy (owns-a-private-jet-wealthy), so they go on trips together and my friend is traumatized over and over again…

Give these folks all the luxury handbags in the world, and it’s not going to help their inner state of being. They will still be suffering, and not experiencing true freedom.

Like us Buddhists say… wherever you go, there you are.

So if it’s not about luxury handbags….
What is freedom really about?

Freedom is about having a clear sense of self, feeling Authentically Confident, and empowered to move through life in alignment with your core values and Divine Purpose.

It looks like:

😇 … Knowing that you can meet any conflict with grace and courage, and knowing that you’ll be able to advocate for your needs with respect and dignity.

Me at the museum in the hall of mirrors. And yes, I’m actually carrying a high end leather bag… but the freedom came from the fun, not the bag!!!

🙏🏼 … Being able to keep your calm center of peace, even when people PUSH your buttons. Knowing that you can attend to your feelings without losing control.

🥰 … Feeing safe to authentically express yourself, without having to censor because you’re afraid others will judge you.

💪🏽 … Living in a state of alignment with your Divine Purpose and making a lasting legacy on the world.

✨ … Being so in tune with Spirit and your Inner Divinity that you are able to manifest things instantly and with ease and FUN!

🤑 … Having prosperity in EVERY area of your life - money, relationships, your business, travel…  you want it, you got it! (Even expensive handbags! 😉)

And here’s one I experienced myself this week:

🦋 … Not having to request time off from work and count down your PTO to take a full day trip to the museum mid-week!

These examples of true inner freedom all come down to having autonomy, sovereignty, and being so DEEPLY connected with who you are that you can create the life of your dreams!

This is exactly the work I help my clients with in my
Art of Authentic Confidence personal mentorship.

Are you ready to uplevel your life, define YOUR version of inner freedom, and claim your life of prosperity that’s waiting for you?

To your life of TRUE freedom and prosperity!
xoxo Sarah
